You know the feeling of standing in front of your wardrobe and missing some fresh inspiration? Through three new stars in the Care of Carl sky, we hope to remedy this everyday feeling. Let us present:
Japan’s Auralee stands for a down to earth elegance. Comfort in harmony with sophisticated design. The creator Ryota Iwai draws inspiration for the collections from everyday life, the weather he wakes up to, the colours that surround him and impressions from travels around the world. An attitude that harmonises well with a nascent broad desire to incorporate these ideals into wearable everyday style. If you want to find an insightfully playful interpretation of timeless style in clothes that clearly show who you are: Auralee, "The land that lights up", can become a good friend for the foreseeable future.
Rhude is rooted in a nostalgic celebration of American streetwear, interpreted through founder Rhuigi Villaseñor's socio-economic and personal experiences over the years after he moved to Los Angeles. Rhuigi designs the collections without formal design training, and attributes his innate understanding of garments and fit to his mother, who was a tailor by trade. The brand's aesthetic grows hand in hand with Villaseñor's personality and outlook on life, starting in 2015 in their teenage years, to today: representing a more developed view of his background. If you have a penchant for classic American streetwear and its ideals, the clothes from Rhude will not only fill the gaps in your wardrobe: They will bring the whole wardrobe together.
The Italian brand Alanui was born through the love of an old, knitted American vintage cardigan. Garments with high material quality, created to last for decades, with a style and richness of detail that give them unique aesthetics and trail weight. Today, the brand's creative drive is Nicolò Oddi, who from Los Angeles, brings together Italian tradition and knowledge of the best knitted garments, with North American aesthetics whose details always have a place in the wardrobe of a well-dressed man. An irresistible fusion of the highest quality and garments you just want to own at first sight.
