How the Repair Service Works

How does the process work?
- Contact our customer service through e-mail at contact@careofcarl.com
- You will receive detailed instructions on how to send your garment to us at Care of Carl.
- We will ensure that your garment is sent to Lanvin, where they are resoled by the brand's own specialists.
- Once the repair is complete, we will send your shoes back to you, resoled and ready for use.
The estimated time for the resole and delivery is 6-8 weeks, but this may vary depending on factors such as season and factory queues.

What is included in a resoling?
Lanvin's own specialists will replace the entire rubber outsole with a new one in a colour that matches your shoes (i.e black or white). This also includes a new leather insole if needed, an often missed detail that goes a long way to making your shoes feel really refreshed.

Which shoes can be resoled?
We currently offer resoling of shoes purchased here at Care of Carl in the Cap Toe Sneaker (DBB1) and DBB0 models.

Can I physically submit my shoes for a resoling?
Care of Carl does not currently offer the option to drop off your shoes directly with us but refers to the process above.

Will the new sole be different from the original sole?
The resoling is done with original material, by Lanvin's own specialists, and therefore it usually does not differ from the original sole. However, nothing is done to the upper part itself, and the shoe will be returned in the condition in which you handed it in.
As usual, we advise you to take care of your shoes on an ongoing basis so that they last as long as possible. Read more in our shoe care guide here. -
What do I pay as a customer for the service?
The price for resoling includes handling costs and workmanship, which currently amounts to 140 EUR.
