Founded in 1982 in Dallas, Texas by Jim Autry, the brand won both recognition and fame, specialising in areas such as tennis, running and aerobics. At the time, the "Medalist" sneakers was Autry's biggest success.

Founder Jim Autry passed away in 2009, and Autry faded from the limelight. With new management, the relaunched Medalist sneakers won accolades again in 2019. The retro model Dallas is now creating new history.
