The exclusive fragrances of perfume house Eight & Bob can all be traced back to its founding in the early 1900s by perfumier Albert Fouquet. The name “Eight & Bob” is a reference to the company’s very first order, placed by John F. Kennedy: “Eight samples, and if your production allows, another one for Bob”.
The story of Eight & Bob began when Albert Fouquet, the son of a Parisian aristocrat, was joined by his butler in creating fragrances in the family château. International interest in their creations quickly followed, but it was first when Fouquet crossed paths with a young John F. Kennedy that the demand for their classic fragrances really began to take off.
