Family-run Peregrine can trace its origins all the way back to 1796 and today can boast an unrivalled expertise in knitwear production. Since its inception, the company has remained steadfastly committed to manufacturing all of its garments in England, giving them 100% control over the production process from start to finish. This process, and the design stage in particular, follows three fundamental principles: functionality, durability and tradition.
Specialist knitwear brand Peregrine has been a part of the British textile world since 1796, when it was founded by knitting machinist Thomas Glover just outside the English city of Leicester. Through Glover’s tireless efforts, Peregrine evolved into the family business we know today. The Peregrine Clothing name itself was first registered in 1956.
