Tom Ford was born in Austin, Texas before later moving to study architecture and art history in New York and Paris. In 2005, he launched his eponymous fashion label with eyewear being among the very first collections. During his decades in the fashion industry, Ford has amassed an unmatched wealth of experience. He began as a womenswear designer at Gucci and became the fashion house’s creative director in 1994.
